Classes are free for Chandler residents and space is limited to 30 participants. To register, contact the Chandler Neighborhood Programs Division at 480-782-4348 or 480-782-4351. All classes are held at the McCullough-Price House, 300 S. Chandler Village Drive in Chandler, AZ. Light snacks are provided.

Community Mediation Service, a program of The Leadership Centre is pleased to offer our popular 40-Hour Basic Mediation certification class during the 2009-2010 season! This certification course is a week long, intensive session designed to enhance the participants’ problem-solving abilities, interpersonal interactions and communication skills. In this highly interactive, hands-on training, participants learn the principles and practices of dispute resolution and have the opportunity for applied practice in facilitation, negotiation and consensus building! The skills learned in this training are useful for people of all career areas or volunteer interests, and have been shown to greatly improve participant’s daily interactions! In addition, participants successfully completing the Solve-It! 40-Hour Basic Mediation training are certified to become volunteer mediators with the East Valley Justice Courts as well as with The Leadership Centre! Pre-registration is required. Registration fees are $650 per participant or $599 if registered 10 days in advance. All refreshments and training materials are provided.
